David T. Eddington received the B.S. degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign, in 2000, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2002 and 2004, respectively. He joined the Department of Bioengineering, University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006 after postdoctoral study in the Health Sciences and Technology program at Harvard University/Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests include developing novel solutions to current unmet experimental and clinical needs through applying simple microfabricated devices.

Christopher Glielmi, Senior Scientist, MR Research & Development, Siemens Healthcare
Christopher Glielmi has been responsible for scientific collaborations, product development and clinical research for Siemens MRI R&D since 2009. In addition to enhancing the Siemens cardiovascular imaging product portfolio to improve disease diagnosis, Christopher’s projects include publishing in peer reviewed journals and presenting at scientific conferences.
After receiving his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University in 2001, Christopher worked in e-commerce supply chain management for Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems before pursuing graduate studies to shift his focus towards product research and development. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Georgia Tech in 2009.
David Frazee, Vice President, Digital Systems Technology, 3M Digital Oral Care
David Frazee has been Vice President of Digital Systems Technology in 3M’s Digital Oral Care business since 2009. He leads the global R&D organization developing technology for dental office and laboratory product lines in the growing digital dentistry industry.
David came to 3M in 2005 as the Technical Director of the global Software, Electronic & Mechanical Systems (SEMS) Research Laboratory in St. Paul, MN. In 1999, he joined Vital Images, Inc., a 3D medical visualization company, as the Vice President of Engineering. He started his career in 1982 at GE Medical Systems in the CT systems business as a software developer for CT image reconstruction and 3D and holds two patents for 3D software systems. While at GE, he led CT new technology development for next generation CT systems and was Engineering Program Manager for the GE premium CT product segment. In 1994, David led the GE Global Software Applications organization, developing software for the CT/MR/XR modalities.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University in 1982 and his Master of Science in EE/Computer Science from Marquette University in 1985.
Kaveh Noorbakhsh, Executive Coordinator, Explorys, Inc.
Kaveh Noorbakhsh is the Executive Coordinator at Explorys Medical. Explorys, founded in 2009, is the leader in Dynamic Data Management for healthcare analytics and outcomes measurement. Explorys addresses the national strategic imperative to leverage electronic health records (EHR) for the improvement of medicine.
Prior to coming to Explorys in late 2010, Kaveh was the Supervisor of the Mechanical Installations at Hitachi Medical Systems America (HMSA). During his time at HMSA, Kaveh lead a team of technicians who installed capital medical imaging equipment throughout the North America. In addition, he headed HMSA's first ever national technical support call center.
Kaveh Noorbakhsh received his B.S.E. in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2003. During his undergraduate tenure at Case, Kaveh helped found the Alpha Delta chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau social fraternity.

He has more than 20 years of successful entrepreneurial experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and international operations. His career spans the iron and steel industries, manufacturing, consulting and the Internet.
